*Men at Work's original drummer returns to Australian airwaves'Darthmusic 10 Oct 2004 12:47 GMTIn the 1980's Australia's 'Men at Work' were the world's number 1 act with hits like - Down Under & Who Can It Be Now! Now after 20 years the original drummer Mr. Jerry Speiser is back on Australian airwaves with the independent rock group, 'FROST'! The underground music scene can be a rough and rocky road to travel. Those who choose to live this life style learn this pretty quick. Melbourne's pop rockers, 'Frost' are no exceptions. However after years of performing live shows around Melbourne's less glamours pub scene the boys managed to get some airplay on Nova 100, SBS & Triple J with their latest release, 'The Usual Suspects' a 4 track EP. The EP was originally recorded as part of the SBS & Film Victoria's 'Whatever Music project'. At the time Frost was without a drummer. So East Timorese singer/songer, Lee 'Lemon' Trevena asked Mr. Speiser of 80's legends 'Men at Work' to play drums, and he said yes! As Speiser was filling in Frost still required a drummer. So Mr. Rohan Heddle (Cordrazine) joined the boys in early 2004. Frost will be headlining at The Esplanade Hotel (Public Bar) on Thursday 21st October, 9:30 start, FREE Entry!!! "The Usual Suspect" is out now through MGM distribution. But it Now!!! http://sanity.com.au/product.asp?intProductID=577150&intArtistID=9818
