Theres always the possibility that Nick Berg was "Beheaded" by the CIA/Mossad in a "Pro Bush,Pro War-on-Terrorism" Propaganda ploy? This would also have the effect of dampening the harsh publicity in the U.S. and Europe regarding the torture & murder of Iraqi prisoners.
Also Nick Berg may have been a willing CIA or Israeli agent - and he may not have even been beheaded? The videotape could have been spliced or altered and the body of an already "dead" Iraqi could have been substituted for the beheading scene?

Nick Berg is surely dead, but, how, why, and by whom is a different story.
Most likely, he was taken out and shot, and then set up for the video.
The barbarians are inside the gates, where they've always been.

Nick Berg's mother interviewed on CNN said her son was in Iraq as a self motivated volunteer who wanted to "do some good for the people in that troubled region"? (Seems like a pretty shallow,flimsy excuse to go into a war zone? If he had been a volunteer with an agency like the Red Cross tha would be different!) Why Mr.Berg was initially arrested by US Forces is a mystery! How he quickly went from being a U.S.Military prisoner to being an AlQueda prisoner is another mystery.Wether the real Nick Berg was the one beheaded is still unclear? IF Nick Beeg's body was returned to his family for burial in the U.S. - did they actually identify those remains as being their son Nick? Also did they have an autopsy done as to his real cause of death?
