USA Suports Elite for Entertainment and Enslavement
dingos 25.May.2005 19:53
ANTI AMERICANISM PArt Two
Ever wonder if the US supports dictators and the foreign rich elite just for fun and entertainment? - Or is the the US eally out to enslave and dominatrix the whole world?
Why would Rumsfeld be so concerned about the 100,000 AK-47s that Venezuela has purcheased from Russia?
Because he is part of the PNAC ... The Project For The New American Century.
Paul Wolfowitz and Dick Cheney are also “members” of this quiet organization.
The following is the list of signees at the PNAC:
Dick Cheney
Donald Rumsfeld
Paul Wolfowitz
Jeb Bush
Elliott Abrams
Gary Bauer
William J. Bennett
Eliot A. Cohen
Midge Decter
Paula Dobriansky
Steve Forbes
Aaron Friedberg
Francis Fukuyama
Frank Gaffney
Fred C. Ikle
Donald Kagan
Zalmay Khalilzad
Lewis Libby
Norman Podhoretz
Dan Quayle
Peter W. Rodman
Stephen P. Rosen
Henry S. Rowen
Vin Weber
George Weigel
What is the PNAC? This is what they say on their website:
“Established in the spring of 1997, the Project for the New American Century is a non-profit, educational organization whose goal is to promote American global leadership.” (Isn’t 1997 the year when the US government realized that Chavez would win the elections?)
American global leadership?
Yeah … a sly way of saying, “American world dominance.”
Their “statement of principles” states, amongst other things:
“As the 20th century draws to a close, the United States stands as the world's preeminent power. Having led the West to victory in the Cold War, America faces an opportunity and a challenge: Does the United States have the vision to build upon the achievements of past decades? Does the United States have the resolve to shape a new century favorable to American principles and interests? ...
• we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future
• we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values
• we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad
• we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.”
Paraphrased, the above says:
“We’re the strongest and best nation in the world. We tell our people that we won the Cold War against communism, which ain’t true, but that don’t matter anyhow, we got lotsa guns. In the next coupla’ years we’re gonna take over the world … turn everyone on earth into American-like zombies so we can continue gettin’ rich and continue foolin’ em’ all. We’re gonna use guns, tanks, lies, propaganda, the media and our business partners to get it done. It’s gonna get done our way, and our way only, otherwise they’re gonna pay! Yahoo!”
Donald Rumsfeld (US Secretary of Defense and PNAC signee) is talking against Venezuela’s purchase of 100,000 AK-47s ... he, along with Paul Wolfowitz (ex-US Deputy Secretary of Defense and PNAC signee) and Dick Cheney (ex-US secretary of Defense and PNAC signee) do not want anyone else in the world to have guns … because it will make their job of taking over the world more difficult and more expensive.
Rumsfeld’s remarks are pre-emptive … preparing the way to increased anti-Venezuela propaganda … where Venezuelans are depicted as gun-wielding threats to “freedom and democracy.”
Mark my words.
The US government is already planning to forcefully “de-militarize” other countries (not themselves, of course) and is in the process of reviewing a new bill (S.2981) in congress called “Conventional Arms Threat Reduction Act of 2004.”
The bill is proposed by Senator Richard Lugar (!). Bang, bang!
Section 4 (a) of the bill states:
“IN GENERAL- The Secretary of State is authorized to carry out an accelerated global program to secure, remove, or eliminate stocks of MANPADS (man-portable air defense systems), other conventional weapons, and tactical missile systems, as well as related equipment and facilities, that are determined by the Secretary to pose a proliferation threat.”
Note the statement, “accelerated global program!”
I am quite sure that the Three PNAC Musketeers (!), Rumsfeld, Cheney and Wolfowitz are well aware of this bill (which asks for $50 million for its first operating year). They must be salivating, tongues hanging out, just waiting for the bill to be approved … so they can run with the ball.
Once approved, Rumsfeld will be able to say:
“You see, Venezuela is a conventional arms threat! If they don’t hand over their guns, we will have to physically go take the guns away from them! Yahoo! Let’s pull out our muskets! Bang, bang!”
This is why the US government is criticizing Venezuela’s purchase of arms. It is starting a propaganda build-up in order to justify the future invasion of oil-rich Venezuela … just like the US government did with Iraq. With Iraq, it was WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction) … and with Venezuela, it will be CATs (Conventional Arms Threats).
CNN will yell … “Venezuela has CATs!”
But cats also live in the jungles, swamps and mountainous areas.
THESE PEOPLE ARE DESTROYING THE FUTURE OF BOLIVIA
Alfonso 26.May.2005 00:57
It is true there is a strike, although it is by far not such a big mobilization as you might think.
It's just a group of some hundreds of radical leftists followed by peasants who, themselves, don't even know what they are fighting for. Recently, a new hidrocarbons law was passed, that increases taxes to oil companies from 18% to 50%. The hope of the radical leftists was that this law does not pass, so as to have a motive to provoke an uprising. Since the law has actually been passed, now the leftists have found a new motive to provoke: expell foreign oil companies and revert oil fields to the state. The thing is, no matter what happens next, leftists will always find something else to provoke unprisings. The real goal is to overthrow the government and create a form of comunist state in Bolivia. This has been clearly stated by the extremists when proposing to close the parliament and seize power by taking control of the presidential palace.
The economic damage being caused to Bolivia is huge. The main consequiences will be:
- Foreign investments in Bolivia will come to a halt, because of the political turmoil.
- Foreign aid will also stop, because the new law is a form of expropiation and violates all treaties regarding protection of foreign investments in Bolivia.
- The govermental economic plan is doomed, because it will not have the necessary cash for all the projects. This means shortages in plans to improve education, health care, housing, road building, etc.
At the end, the most affected will be the same people who today are out there in the streets shouting and burning things.

Liberal or Neo Con Alfonso is a mouthpiece for the rich
Death to Gringos 26.May.2005 17:54
Alfonso is spitting out the lies of the imperialists - as he was taught - no doubt. He says
"THESE PEOPLE" ARE DESTROYING THE FUTURE OF BOLIVIA - he probably would have said this 10 years ago too when Bolivia embarked on neo-liberalism which killed and impoversihed millions in Bolivia and 100s of millions worldwide.
He says: " not such a big mobilization as you might think." - That's comic - millions of people in Bolivia have participated in the uprisinf in the last years. Hundreds of thousands are protesting or marching and a majority supports this. Yet Alfonso sings his little Yankee song...
He says: " followed by peasants who, themselves, don't even know what they are fighting for." COmic tragedy - They fight for democracy, participation and soacial justice, just as they have for centuries.
He says: " no matter what happens next, leftists will always find something else to provoke unprisings. The real goal is to overthrow the government..." [Very true and praiseworthy] - "and create a form of comunist state in Bolivia." - Of course Alfonso and his ilk think anything non-capitalist or non-USA endorsed is communism - he would have supported the USA genocide against 5 million Vietnamese and 2 million Cambodians with this same logic.
Alfonso says: "The economic damage being caused to Bolivia is huge. The main consequiences will be:
- Foreign investments in Bolivia will come to a halt, because of the political turmoil.
- Foreign aid will also stop, because the new law is a form of expropiation and violates all treaties regarding protection of foreign investments in Bolivia."
SIlly lies are sometimes the most deadly - YES corporate US-domiated investment will end - as it should in all places with any dignity or morality - but Cuban, Venezuelan, Russian, Chinese and other non-aligned investment and advisors will assist the new "Free Bolivia."
Wine and pine as much as you can Alfonso - soon you will be trapped in your little Capitalist-Imperialist walled cities and secure hamlets - but never again will you be safe.
Shameful name; "Death to Gringos" but your right, Alfonso is full of it!
Por Favor 27.May.2005 01:28
Death to Gringos is a shameful ill conceived name with racist connotations, however the same poster is correct in his analysis of the poster Alfonso in regards to his regurgitated right-wing ranting regarding the absurdity of the downtrodden actually trying to better their own condition by taking their destiny out of the hands of profit and power motivated multinationals, politicians and bureaucrats. Not any guarantee that they will succeed as every such attempt over the past hundred odd years has met with fierce countermeasures by the reactionaries throughout the world and especially via the U.S. when it comes to Latin America. But eventually some place might just get it right. Although in that case it will probably be a combined effort with active support spanning all borders.
I also disagree with the staement that Alfonso should never feel safe again. I don't feel that people should feel their lives threatened because they may differ in opinion to those carrying out a rebellion. Unless they are taking an active roll in an armed counter rebellion even the basic rights of a right winger like Alfonso should be safeguarded. Even fascist sentiments should be tolerated but of course not fascist actions. Words should be fought with words. Ideas with Ideas. Only when it comes to defending the lives of others or the material necessities necessary to sustain a healthy life should violence be considered and then only as a last resort.
