Venezuela hosts American Indian delegation at World Social Forum

CARACAS, Venezuela - An indigenous delegation from North America, hosted by Venezuelan leaders, attended the World Social Forum Jan. 24 - 29 and visited the province of Amazonia to meet with its first indigenous governor. The indigenous delegation took part in the sixth World Social Forum in Caracas and spoke at the Indigenous Platform on sovereignty, self-determination and religious freedom.
