1,170 workers were killed in the workplace in 2007.
In Italy in 2007 there were twice as many workplace deaths and 8 times as many road deaths as murders.

Allein die militärischen Treibstoff-Kosten schlugen 2007 mit 307 Millionen Euro zu Buche. So ein Panzer frißt nun mal locker 30 Liter Sprit auf 100 Kilometer. Doch nicht allein, um den Nachschub an Treibstoff für die Truppe zu sichern, steht die Bundeswehr am Hindukusch. Fast die gesamte globale Industrie steht oder fällt mit der Versorgung durch das flüssige schwarze Gold.
