- Israeli warplanes and helicopters pounded the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing at least 225 people in one of the bloodiest days for the Palestinians in 60 years. The air raid led to a Hamas missiles attack as a response. In Israel 1 man died, a few injured, and the population in the southern region will stay at the shelters for the night.

Demo updates
- Hundreds of radical left demonstrators, Arab and Jews, went out to the streets of Tel Aviv calling for stopping the war, the Israeli aggression and the Hamas' counter response. 6 protesters were arrested as they tried to reach the road leading to the Israeli High Command Barracks in Tel Aviv. The police decided to keep them detained for the night, and they will be brought before a judge tomorrow morning.
- Israeli imedia reports thousends attending a demonstration in Nazareth, organized by various Palestinian political parties (Communist-Socilist, Islamic, and nationalist parties). Around 1,000 people arrived at a mourning tent set up in Jaffa.
