Kern's special library commission to meet October 27th

 
The Metropolitan Library Commission of Oklahoma County Special Committee 2005 will meet October 27th in the Friends Event Room, on the fourth floor of the downtown library, located at 300 Park Ave. The meeting will be held from 3:00- 5:00 p.m., but there will most likely be time before the meeting for people to speak if they wish. Those who wish to speak can contact the Metro library at 606-3726. The new committee is made up Nancy Anthony, Ann Caine, Carolyn Cornelius, Kirk Humphrey's brother-in-law Scott Duncan, and Cynthia Trent. Nancy Anthony, Executive Director of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, is the least supportive of restricting children's books with controversial themes, and she can be contacted at n.anthony@occf.org Additional contact information for committee members will be posted when found.
