Rally for Immigrant Rights to Oppose Anti-Immigrant Legislation

 
H.R. 4437 was passed by the US House of Representatives in December, and will likely reach the US Senate for debate in late February or early March. This bill would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to strengthen enforcement of immigration laws, to enhance border security, and for "other purposes." A Rally for Immigrant Rights/ Manifestación Pro-Inmigrante will be held on Saturday, February 25th, from 12pm to 3pm in the St. Elizabeth's Schoolyard in Oakland's Fruitvale District.
