As Bush Signs Away the Constitution...
The Boston Globe has reported that since taking office, President Bush has claimed the authority to rewrite 750 laws saying he has power to over ride congress when he is not in agreement with them. The constitution is clear that congress writes the laws and the president must carefully execute those laws. But Bush, in his true cowboy self, said that he does not need to execute laws he thinks are unconstitutional and that he has the right to disregard laws that impose on his powers as head of the executive branch. .
