Northwest Students for a Democratic Society Convention

The Second Northwest Regional Convention of the new Students for a Democratic Society will be held at Evergreen State Collge, April 20th until April 22nd, in the city of Olympia, Washington. The convention starts Friday at 7:00pm and ends Sunday evening.

6-7pm -Registration, check-in & snacks.

7-7:45pm -Report backs from each chapter.

8-9 - Keynote Speaker: Therese Saliba

Night time activity - Fugitive!!

---> Saturday 4/21:

9am - Breakfast!

9:30-10:30am - Workshops(IVAW G.I. Coffee Houses).

10:45-11:45 - Consent Training.

11:45pm-1:15 - LUNCH and breakout into work groups.

1:15-230 - Forum on Sexism in the Movement

2:45-415 - Discussion on National Structure.

4:30-530 - Workshops(Folk Music and Revolution).

5:45-630 - Keynote Speak: Peter Bohmer

Night time activities - Party! Cabaret! Coffee house! Come ready to perform and be performed for!

11:15-12:45pm - National Structure Discussion (woohoo!)

12:45-1:45 - LUNCH

2-3 - SDS a year in refection (Be ready to talk about your chapter!)

3:15-4:15 - Workshops

4:30-530 - Closing (feedback from workgroups, resolutions, etc.)
