Iraq Moratorium at The New School

SDS exhibits activism throughout Manhattan

On September 21, Students for a Democratic Society gathered at The New School with handmade banners and pooled anticipation to launch the first Iraq Moratorium of 2007. Harmonized chants paved a clear path on 5th Avenue, where over 30 protestors turned heads and excited horns through the entirety of the march which appropriately ended at the U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting station in Times Square. From East Harlem to the Lower East Side, people committed to holding an Iraq Moratorium in the form of peaceful demonstrations. These all-inclusive events are expected to take place on the 21st of every month in various locations. Visit or for more information.
