World Environment Day 2019

 
The Way to Happiness Foundation invited the City of Tampa and The Sustany Foundation to educate Tampa Bay residents in the causes and handling for everyday waste and pollution to mark World Environment Day.

On June 5, 2019: The Way to Happiness Foundation invited the City of Tampa and The Sustany Foundation to educate Tampa Bay residents in the causes and handling for everyday waste and pollution to mark World Environment Day. The United Nations officially declared this day to fight against air pollution in 1974. it has expanded from there.

More than 50 people were present from the Tampa, Saint Petersburg and Pasco County region at this event hosted by the Church of Scientology of Tampa.

The Recycling Specialist from the City of Tampa told us that we recycled 34% compared to Sweden that recycles 99% . He showed us the program developed by the Department of Solid Waste and Environmental Programs Management for “Cleaning today for a greener tomorrow”. Recycling effectively and in a few steps we can cause a more positive impact on the environment and create a healthier future.

The Sustany Foundation and the City of Tampa congratulated The Way to Happiness Foundation for the initiative and good example by using 100% recyclable table ware. The Sustancy Foundation supports innovative community programs that preserve the environment and improve the health of human beings.

The Way to Happiness Foundation educates people through 21 steps of a common sense code. It is apolitical and non-religious. One of precepts is Safeguard and Improve your Environment, "The care of the planet begins in one’s own front yard.” L. Ron Hubbard.
