Did MPD Target an Activist?

DC, 01.09.2010 23:10

Linda Leaks is a community organizer. In order to protect the District of Columbia's remaining public housing stock, Leaks travels throughout the city, in her car. At least she did. On the afternoon of Friday, August 8th, Leaks was pulled over by D.C. police for driving an unregistered vehicle. Rather than simply giving Leaks a ticket, she was handcuffed, arrested and not released until 2:30 AM, without her wallet, ID or money. Audio

BRD als Täter - die Kampagne TATORT Kurdistan

Germany, 01.09.2010 13:09

In 1972 and 1974 (at ages 30 and 32), he was Texas gubernatorial candidate for the La Raza Unida Party (RUP), established to help Mexican Americans achieve greater economic, social, and political self-determination, especially in South Texas, where, though a majority in many counties and locales, they held little or no power.

Germany, 31.08.2010 21:39

Just after I completed an interview with Segal, an activist with Progressive Democrats for America, he asked an elderly man what he thought of President Obama. The elderly man responded by saying that Obama is the first nigger President.
